Alena Kuchusheva

Data Visualization Lead
I have a master's degree in Math with a specialization in cryptography. I always wanted to work in a visual environment, to find something that would combine the accuracy of mathematics and user interactions. So after ending of the university, I've started to work as web-designer.
In 2007 I've completed the art director qualification course at the British Higher School of Art & Design in Moscow.

Then, I opened the world of data visualization and realized that this is what I have been looking for. I began to study analytics and programming, and after 5 years I completely switched from design to data storytelling. Finally, I came to data visualization with a solid UI/UX background and now work in Google Data Studio and Tableau.

I'm introvert by nature, but I like to connect people. So I came to Measure Camps organization. In 2017-2019 I was an organizer of Measure Camps in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Measure Bowling in Moscow.
